Do I need Spotify Premium?

No. A free Spotify account works too. All that's needed is for Discord to show what you're listening to: on Discord go to Settings → Connections → Spotify, connect it and turn on "Display Spotify as your status". It's the same setting on mobile: Profile → Connections.

Why wasn't my listening counted?

Check these in order:

Have you joined the game? Listening only counts after you press Join in /start.
Is your Spotify status visible? Your profile should say "Listening to Spotify". If your Discord status is Invisible, the bot can't see it either.
Is tracking on? Check with /privacy status; if you turned it off, use /privacy opt-in. Server admins may also have turned tracking off for the whole server (/settings tracking).
Did you listen for at least 30 seconds? Shorter plays give no reward.
Did you hit a limit? At most 15 songs an hour and 30 a day earn Vinyl, and the same song counts at most 2 times a day.
Is your Discord account new? Accounts younger than 7 days get no listening rewards.

How do I add the bot to my server?

Press Add to Discord on this site and pick your server. You need the Manage Server permission there to add bots (a Discord rule). Kanade doesn't ask for admin; only to view channels, send messages, send messages in threads, embed links and attach files.

After that, members just type /start.

How do I delete my data?

Type /privacy delete-my-data and confirm. Your cards, Vinyl, progress and listening summaries are deleted permanently, and removed from encrypted backups within 30 days at the latest.

How do I stop my listening from being tracked?

/privacy opt-out turns tracking off on every server: the songs you play aren't added to any pool and you earn no listening rewards. Your cards, Vinyl, boxes and quests carry on as before. Turn it back on any time with /privacy opt-in.

Server admins can turn tracking off for the whole server with /settings tracking.

Which songs come out of boxes?

About 25% from songs you played on this server and don't own yet, 50% from the server pool and 25% from other servers. On a new server, while the pool is small, most cards come from the global pool; the more your server listens, the more of your own songs appear. See the Guide for details.

Does it cost anything?

No, Kanade is free. Vinyl, Shards and cards exist only in the game; they can't be bought and have no real-money value.

Which language does the bot speak?

Turkish and English. The language of bot messages is a server setting: admins change it with /settings language. Command names and descriptions appear in Turkish or English depending on your Discord language.
